 +
 +They form a Collective, a sort of pseudo-hivemind, in which they can share information and even sight and sound between each other effortlessly. Many Terrans find it uncomfortable to be near them, knowing that everything they do or say is made known to the broader collective.

 They have an overall human appearance, though typically stand roughly 135cm tall (with some small degree of variance, ranging from 125 to 140 on the extreme ends). Their hair and eyes glow blue with mana radiation, producing enough light to illuminate their immediate surroundings in complete darkness. Their faces are somewhat rounded, their heads slightly larger compared to their bodies than a human's would be, and they're generally thinner than a typical human. They weigh about 20kg.  They have an overall human appearance, though typically stand roughly 135cm tall (with some small degree of variance, ranging from 125 to 140 on the extreme ends).  +
 +Specialized combat models may stand as tall as 155cm, though these are relatively rare.

 Their shell is outfitted with a '[[lifesuit|Lifesuit]],' which serves as both a basic form or protection and a means to contain the immense amount of mana needed to keep their true self from evaporating inside the Shell. The Lifesuit adds enough padding about their body to make them more closely resemble a human's proportions, albeit with relatively bulky shoulders and backs, making them appear rather broad at the shoulder. The suit's colors differ depending on model and generation, but usually use some combination of white, black, gold, and blue.  Their shell is outfitted with a '[[lifesuit|Lifesuit]],' which serves as both a basic form or protection and a means to contain the immense amount of mana needed to keep their true self from evaporating inside the Shell.  Their 'true self,' which they refer to as their '[[core|Core]],' is a being of light-based divine energy. Even in their own language, there are no words to completely physically describe it. To the mortal eye, it shifts in appearance from moment to moment and between angles, even when viewed through photographs and video recordings. It does have some known features, however, such as an abundance of eyes and tentacles. Some of these tentacles are capable of reaching out through the Shell's back to interact with things directly.  Their 'true self,' which they refer to as their '[[core|Core]],' is a being of light-based divine energy.  +===== Gender =====
 +
 +Cendarii are a genderless society, in the sense that they do not express gender as a culture. While they do have male and female Shells, they see no functional difference between them (and the physical differences are minimal). Their own language lacks gendered pronouns entirely. They also lack gendered clothes, names, or styles, and it's not uncommon to see Cendarii men wearing clothes that Terrans might traditionally consider feminine.
 +
 +It's a common misconception that all Cendarii are women, but roughly one out of every ten batches of Shells are made male. This was originally considered a fluke or a glitch, but no attempt was ever made to 'fix' this, as the Shells were perfectly functional.
 +
 +Terrans regularly mistake Cendarii men for women, something they find amusing more than anything. Though, they will still politely correct the error for the sake of accuracy.

 +===== History =====
 +
 +The Cendarii's origins are unknown even to themselves. They know that they awoke aboard their Mothership ark around 2,000 years ago, and spent most of their early years pursuing their main objective: find a new home. They do not know who originally created their Shells, or why they appear much like Humans do.
 +
 +After 1,000 years on this voyage, their ark's condition was so beyond their ability to maintain that they decided to settle on a mana-rich world where at least their need for mana would be satisfied. From there, they focused on themselves rather than their search, but kept their desire for a new home in the back of their minds.
 +
 +As their biotech advanced, they began to develop new ships to send on more short-term expeditions so that the majority of the Cendarii population could live in relative comfort on their current world. As they did so, they discovered many worlds who fell to corruptions, namely Flesh and Death corruptions. They developed a special hatred for such corruptions, and began a crusade against them.
 +
 +They only very recently stumbled across Earth, and feeling that desire for a proper home eagerly worked with its inhabitants so they could settle there.
 +
 +===== Culture =====
 +
 +Cendarii are a community-minded race who often put the greater good above personal benefit. They don't seek glory or riches, and instead focus on improving their environment, finding new things to learn, or pursuing the arts. They abhor violence, but aren't strict pacifists. They understand the need to fight to protect what is dear.
 +
 +Communities are very tight-knit, and they hate to be alone. Cendarii are often seen traveling in groups of three or more, even for running mundane errands. They scarcely sleep alone, and prefer to have communal bedrooms where all inhabitants of a particular structure sleep together.
 +
 +They hold music in high regard, enough so that their language is often sung, even in casual speech. The vast majority of their stories (both fiction and non-fiction) are posed as songs, which are often performed with dancing actors to portray various characters. Even though they can listen to these songs at any time they wish using the Collective Memory, they prefer to view them in-person when possible.
 +
 +They're obsessive data hoarders, collecting every scrap of information possible. They love learning new things, and Cendarii children will even forgo asking the Collective Memory for information so they can feel the thrill of learning something on their own. This behavior is encouraged, to teach children the importance of learning and double-checking information.
