Cendarii are a race of divine beings who dwell inside of artificial humanoid 'Shells.' They're known to have a strong sense of duty to protect life, to be endlessly curious, and to be occasional trouble-makers (though usually not on purpose).

Since Cendarii primarily reside inside their Shells, their Shell is what is generally referenced when describing their appearance.

They have an overall human appearance, though typically stand roughly 135cm tall (with some small degree of variance, ranging from 125 to 140 on the extreme ends). Their hair and eyes glow blue with mana radiation, producing enough light to illuminate their immediate surroundings in complete darkness. Their faces are somewhat rounded, their heads slightly larger compared to their bodies than a human's would be, and they're generally thinner than a typical human. They weigh about 20kg.

Specialized combat models may stand as tall as 155cm, though these are relatively rare.

Their shell is outfitted with a 'Lifesuit,' which serves as both a basic form or protection and a means to contain the immense amount of mana needed to keep their true self from evaporating inside the Shell. The Lifesuit adds enough padding about their body to make them more closely resemble a human's proportions, albeit with relatively bulky shoulders and backs, making them appear rather broad at the shoulder. The suit's colors differ depending on model and generation, but usually use some combination of white, black, gold, and blue.

Their 'true self,' which they refer to as their 'Core,' is a being of light-based divine energy. Even in their own language, there are no words to completely physically describe it. To the mortal eye, it shifts in appearance from moment to moment and between angles, even when viewed through photographs and video recordings. It does have some known features, however, such as an abundance of eyes and tentacles. Some of these tentacles are capable of reaching out through the Shell's back to interact with things directly.
